Python Python Basics (2015) Logic in Python Try and Except

python try and except

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. The instruction says to convert to float "before" adding them together but I've tried the float function everywhere and I'm not sure where it means to place the function to convert them.

    return(float(num1 + num2))

try using: return(float(num1)+float(num2))
