10,419 PointsPython or JavaScript - Which should I choose?
I want to become job ready, soon. I've ventured into Python, then went on the JavaScript track because it's popular. However, I'm uninspired by JavaScript, and prefer Python, which I feel excited about even when challenged. Am I burying myself before I get started by pursuing Python? Or, should I just stick it out, and pursue JavaScript because it seems more job marketable?

If you're more interested in Python you might be better off doing data analytics than web development (IMHO). Python is very strong in that area with the other language being R. If you're interested you may want to check DataCamp which is similar to Treehouse but focused more on data analytics and machine learning / artificial intelligence.
