231,269 PointsThe "def" keyword starts a function, and is followed by the function name and then parentheses with any parameters inside and finally a colon. The "return" keyword ends the function, and is optionally followed by the value you want the function to return. Example:
def HalfOfTen(): # this defines a function named "HalfOfTen" that has no parameters
return 5 # it will return the value 5
