817 PointsPython Basic: String Length compare is not passing:
I am doing one of the Python Basic task where the directions is to create a new function to print whether the string is too long or too short. I have run this code in workspace and it appears to be working correctly, however, it is not passing the in-line submission:
Here is my code snippet: def just_right(mw_string): if len(mw_string) < 5: print ("Your string is too short.") elif len(mw_string) > 5: print("Your string is too long.") else: return True
Can I get guidance?
def just_right(mw_string):
if len(mw_string) < 5:
print ("Your string is too short.")
elif len(mw_string) > 5:
print("Your string is too long.")
else:
return True

41,120 PointsYou need to return something in all three outcomes. You are printing instead of returning in two out of the three possible outcomes.
