48 PointsPSD 2 HTML is Dead .... & CSS Frameworks Foundation 5 & Sketch
I am thinking of customizing the front home page of my Wordpress Site. Mainly because I can't get my site the way I want it using Headway Themes.
I found Team Treehouse by Googling: PSD 2 HTML and ended up on the blog Aritcle PSD to HTML is Dead which told me to create sites using CSS Frameworks like Foundation 5
My Question is This:
I already know how I want my site to look. The hard part is the development not the design.
Instead of using Foundation 5 then putting that into a text editor, wouldn't it be easier to use something like the Sketch App and design visually. It is suppose to convert everything to CSS/HTML. Would that be the end of it. Just hit a button and paste the CSS somewhere ?
Would appreciate any insights to this
Thank You
Curt

33,856 PointsSketch can export a bit of CSS I believe, however, not entirely and it's mainly used for UI design. What you're speaking of is somewhat in the early stages. There is of course Dreamweaver for a more visual workflow but many won't recommend it. I think you are thinking of something more along the lines of an actual web design tool that let's you meld the whole process together.
I'd recommend the tools below but once again these things are still in progress.
By the way most of these tools don't support frameworks just yet.
