iOS Protocols in Swift Protocol Basics Protocols With Methods

Protocols with Methods Code Challenge

What does it mean by "simply set the color of the lamp to the new color"? I am on task 2.

This would be a lot easier if there was the Preview button :(

protocols.swift
// Declare protocol here
protocol ColorSwitchable {
  func switchColor(_ color: Color)
}

enum LightState {
  case on, off
}

enum Color {
  case rgb(Double, Double, Double, Double)
  case hsb(Double, Double, Double, Double)
}

class WifiLamp: ColorSwitchable {
  let state: LightState
  var color: Color

  init() {
    self.state = .on
    self.color = .rgb(0,0,0,0)
  }
}

func switchColor(_ color: Color) {

}

EDIT: I fixed it. The problem was that I had the method outside of the WifiLamp class. It should've looked like this:

protocols.swift
// Declare protocol here
protocol ColorSwitchable {
  func switchColor(_ color: Color)
}

enum LightState {
  case on, off
}

enum Color {
  case rgb(Double, Double, Double, Double)
  case hsb(Double, Double, Double, Double)
}

class WifiLamp: ColorSwitchable {
  let state: LightState
  var color: Color

 func switchColor(_ color: Color) {
  self.color = color
}

  init() {
    self.state = .on
    self.color = .rgb(0,0,0,0)
  }
}

(I also needed to add self.color = color)
