Protip for method POST handler, regarding Spring and Thymeleaf user input errors

POST handler method signatures should look exactly like Chris's:

    @RequestMapping(value = "/categories", method = RequestMethod.POST)
    public String addCategory(@Valid Category category, BindingResult result, RedirectAttributes redirectAttributes) {

If you include a Model parameter you will cry. It passes the compiler, but the handler is never hit, and there's no help from logs or browser network panel. This is wrong:

    @RequestMapping(value = "/categories", method = RequestMethod.POST)
    public String addCategory(@Valid Category category, Model model, BindingResult result, RedirectAttributes redirectAttributes) {

Is this because Model is associated with HTTP GET method, and not POST?
