iOS Swift Collections and Control Flow Control Flow With Conditional Statements Working With Switch Statements

Problem with "Working with Swift Statements"

I get the following error message:

Playground execution failed:

operators.swift
var europeanCapitals: [String] = []
var asianCapitals: [String] = []
var otherCapitals: [String] = []

let world = [

    "LIE": "Vaduz",
    "BGR": "Sofia",
    "USA": "Washington D.C.",
    "MEX": "Mexico City",
    "BRA": "Brasilia",
    "IND": "New Delhi",
    "VNM": "Hanoi"]

for (key, value) in world {
    // Enter your code below
    switch world {

Hi alex, I got stuck on this one too mate. It looks like your switch statement has an extra case case "USA","MEX","BRA": otherCapitals.append(value) where the default line does the exact same thing. hope this helps.

Very close. You need to switch on key, not world:

switch key {
// case statements
}
