6,850 PointsProblem with using constructor in new object
The compiler does not recognize gokart.getColor as valid.
GoKart.java
public class GoKart { private String mColor = "red"; public GoKart(String color) { mColor = color; } public String getColor() { return mColor; } }
Example.java
public class Example {
public static void main(String[] args) {
System.out.println("We are going to create a GoKart");
GoKart gokart = new GoKart("blue");
System.out.printf("The color is: %s",gokart.getColor) } }

6,850 PointsI figured it out. In this class syntax is the key to getting things to compile!
I forgot to put opening and closing parentheses after the method to get the color: System.out.printf("The color is: %s",gokart.getcolor())
