3,809 PointsProblem with string length task.
Any idea, where I made a mistake?
def just_right(text):
if len(text) < 5:
print("Your string is too short")
elif len(text) > 5:
print("Your string is too long")
else:
return(True)
just_right("ketchup")

19,311 PointsHey Ideos,
Lets go through the task and break it down.
Task:
# Create a new function named just_right that takes a single argument, a string.
# If the length of the string is less than five characters, return "Your string is too short".
# If the string is longer than five characters, return "Your string is too long".
# Otherwise, just return True.*
Alright, so from the looks of it, you are using print() instead of return as the task explains.
So to pass this challenge, you need to do the following:
# change:
if len(text) < 5:
print("Your string is too short")
elif len(text) > 5:
print("Your string is too long")
# to:
if len(text) < 5:
return "Your string is too short"
elif len(text) > 5:
return "Your string is too long"
