Problem with printf method

Nothing prints out, and the program should print out: First name: James. Does anyone know why this happens?

IO.java 
// I have imported java.io.Console for you.  It is a variable called console.
String firstName = "";
String lastName = "";
console.readLine("James", firstName);
console.readLine("Bond", lastName);

console.printf("First name: %s", firstName);

I would consider rewatching the video or videos prior to the challenge. Currently, you're not actually assigning the values of the firstName or lastName. Also look into the syntax for console.readLine for java, getting used to reading the documentation will help tons as well. Sorry for not providing a direct answer but this one I believe you can find the answer to! Good luck, learning to code was the best thing I've done!

Thanks Dayne, I watched the video more closely and solved the problem. I would also like to consult with Java documentation about this one, and in the future too. Where can I find the best documentation for Java? Would you be so kind to give me a link or something?
