9,351 PointsProblem with init method
Hello. I have general knowledge about this task, but unfortunately I have problem with init method here. If anyone could help me on how to init in Robot class I'd be thankful.
Thank you
class Point {
var x: Int
var y: Int
init(x: Int, y: Int){
self.x = x
self.y = y
}
}
class Machine {
var location: Point
init() {
self.location = Point(x: 0, y: 0)
}
func move(direction: String) {
print("Can't move")
}
}
// Enter your code below
class Robot: Machine {
//Init method should be here
override func move(direction: String) {
switch direction{
case "Up": ++self.location.y
case "Down": --self.location.y
case "Left": --self.location.x
case "Right": ++self.location.x
default: break
}
}
}

71,830 PointsVery close!!. You're putting the ++ and -- in the wrong place:
class Robot: Machine {
override func move (direction: String) {
switch direction {
case "Up":
self.location.y++
case "Down":
self.location.y--
case "Left":
self.location.x--
case "Right":
self.location.x++
default: break
}
}
}
