The following code gives me an error in the @foreach section of the Detail file. /// Did you replace the 'ViewBag.Characters' property reference with the 'Model.Characters' property?/// --- Can someone help me out? I'm stuck here and just can't seem to get past this. Thank you in advance.
using System.Web.Mvc;
using Treehouse.Models;
namespace Treehouse.Controllers
{
public class VideoGamesController : Controller

Characters = new string[] {
"Mario",
"Princess Peach",
"Bowser",
"Toad",
"Yoshi",
}
};
return View(videogame);
}
}
}
@model Treehouse.Models.VideoGame
@{
ViewBag.PageTitle = "Video Game Detail";
}
<h1>@Model.Title</h1>

<div>@Model.Description</div>
<h5>Characters:</h5>

53,736 PointsYou do not have the correct using statement.
It should be: Treehouse.Models.VideoGame

Treehouse TeacherAli,
Your solution is really close... you just need to remove the unnecessary "@" sign in your foreach
loop. So, replace this:
@foreach (var character in @Model.Characters)
with this:
@foreach (var character in Model.Characters)
Thanks ~James
