When I use that: const lis = listUl.children; Console give me that: Uncaught ReferenceError: listUl is not defined at app.js:9 But if I use that: const lis = document.getElementsByTagName('li'); Its work perfectly.

But your second solution saves a step and is more concise anyway.

How is the second solution of Shifat Kabir saves a step and is more concise? If you can elaborate, please so I can have an idea. Thanks!

231,271 PointsThe single-line solution works because it gets a reference to the child elements directly (the "li" elements) and skips the need for a reference to the parent (the "listUl"),
