Hi. You don't need floats here.

Your code should look like this:

def add(x, y):
    return x + y

Hey Mohammed! You almost got it, you should turn your two arguments into floats in the return part of the code.

def add(arg1, arg2):
    return float(arg1) + float(arg2)
