I am following the instructions using the workspace but my text won't print in the console. Am I missing something?
import java.io.Console;
public class Introductions {
public static void main(String[] args) {
Console console = System.console();
// Welcome to the Introductions program! Your code goes below here
console.printf("Hello, my name is Craig\n");
console.printf("Craig is learning how to code in Java\n");
}
}

If that is indeed the command you are using try:
javac Introductions.java && java Introductions
instead. The &&
tells the command line two run the first command, javac
and then run the second command, java
. You also need to make sure to capitalize Introductions
when using the java
command as that is how this particular Java class is punctuated.
Hope it helps and happy coding!
