I am posting successfully using curl but I am not receiving an email as indicated in the video to confirm. I've checked my spam folder and that does not seem to be the issue.

Treehouse Guest TeacherHey Charles --
It could also depend on what the status of the subscriber was set as. To get the confirmation email, you'll want to make sure that the subscriber's status is set to "pending". You can also check your MailChimp list in the app to make sure they didn't get automatically subscribed, just in case. :)

5,479 PointsThanks for the answer Ted. I am not on Workspaces I am following along in my own terminal. How can I make my local environment support getting the email?
Please note that the email is suppose to be sent by Mailchimp to the account I registered under, so I am not sure I understand why I would need a special configuration.

Courses Plus Student 17,967 PointsI am far from an expert in email and local servers. The local environment has to be set up to tell MailChimp to send. I don't know how to do that, but you could probably find it with a google search.
