Courses Plus Student 1,450 PointsPort Number?
I'm not setting up a website at this time. I'm just watching the videos to grasp the concepts.
3:15 into the video, Nick talks about the port number. He mentions that the port number is 18765 or whatever.
Where did he get this number from?

42,016 Pointsit depends on what port the host has configured to use SFTP. Nick's hosting provider in the video is web hosting for students, and on their FAQ it states:
To connect with SFTP, use your normal login credentials, then set the port to "18765"
generally the host will have some form of instructions or documentation on using sftp and how they have it configured
