You are nearly correct; you just need to rearrange some parts of your code. Here is the code is used to pass this challenge:
name = "Tom"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)
You start with a string "Treehouse loves {}" and then use .format with the variable "name" as the parameter which will place the variable data inside the placeholders ({ }). This whole sentence is to be assigned to the "subject" variable.
Hope this helps! Happy Coding!!!
