19,323 PointsHiya Gee! You're pretty much overcomplicating stuff which leads to error. Okay this is how your code should look like:
import random
def random_item(words):
num = random.randint(0, len(words)-1)
return words[num]
or if you wanna be crazy and execute in couple of lines, you could do it this way(I'd prefer the above code though):
import random
def random_item(words):
return words[random.randint(0, len(words)-1)]
