I created my very first website. My boss likes it and I also like it. But to be honest, I feel like its missing something. It just doesn't stand out, or maybe its just me.
I would truly appreciate it if I can get some advise on how to make my site look less like a beginner made it :)

Your website could use a little design love. Brown, dark blue, black and grey is a pretty bland, heavy, earthy color palette. My first suggestion would be to try to brighten up the colors. Maybe check out [http://colourlovers.com[(http://colourlovers.com) for some fresh options.
My second suggestion is to not put all your content in all those heavy boxes. I'd remove the shadow from the titles, increase the size, remove the bold, and let the text stand on it's own. Make the colors lighter and more airy. You want users to think your hotel is clean and modern, right?

9,181 PointsOh my, I didn't notice almost everything is squared lol thanks for pointing that out. Brown, Dark blue, Black are my hotel colors that's why I used them, its owned by a native tribe that's why they look bland but I will definitely be changing them. The website is for internal use only, sort of like a training for new agents. But I want it to look awesome as I will put it in my portfolio. I liked your suggestions I will definitely be make the changes in a few hours. Thank you.
