please help me on this one

its not working for me

lists.py 
states = [
    'ACTIVE',
    ['red', 'green', 'blue'],
    'CANCELLED',
    'FINISHED',
    5,
]

    states.remove(5)

Your code is fine but the indentation (spacing) is wrong. In python its crucial to make sure your code is not spaced in an incorrect way. The deletion code should be indented to the same level as the rest of the code. Like this:

states = [
    'ACTIVE',
    ['red', 'green', 'blue'],
    'CANCELLED',
    'FINISHED',
    5,
]

states.remove(5)
