Hi Mo.

Every item in the items list is a string. So when they are asking if the 0 index of the item is 'a', they are actually trying to see if the first character of the string is 'a'.

To do that we can write the following code:

def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
        if item[0] == 'a':
            continue
        print(item)
