Please HELP

I don't know what's wrong nor what's missing. I'm really confused, so can please someone clarify what I need to add or fix and why?

buttons.swift
// Example of UIBarButtonItem instance
// let someButton = UIBarButtonItem(title: "A Title", style: .plain, target: nil, action: nil)
enum BarButton {
    case done(title: String)
    case edit(title: String)

    func button() -> UIBarButtonItem {
        switch self {
        case .done(let title) : return UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: .done, target: nil, action: nil)
        case .edit(let title) : return UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: .plain, target: nil, action: nil)
        }
    }
}

let done = BarButton.done(title: "Save")
let doneButton = done.button()

Hi Gabriel

I found nothing wrong with your code...

I found the solution however, it is only very slightly different to yours

enum BarButton {
    case done(title: String)
    case edit(title: String)

    func button() -> UIBarButtonItem {
        var button: UIBarButtonItem
        switch self {
        case .done(let title) : button = UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: .done, target: nil, action: nil)
        case .edit(let title) : button = UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: .plain, target: nil, action: nil)
        }
        return button
    }
}

let done = BarButton.done(title: "Save")
let button = done.button()

The only thing that I changed, is that I created a variable for the switch statement to use, and the function returns the variable, rather than the switch statement returning directly.

I think this might be a problem with their code challenge, as the result is exactly the same. I encourage you to report this to them for the teaching staff to take a further look at this.

That was the problem. Thank you so much, Simon.
