when i run it, it says "Task 1 is no longer passing" i don't know what that means. and how do i 'decrement by 1'?
import random
start = 5
while start = 5:
num = random.randint(0, 99)
def even_odd(num):
if num % 2 == 0:
print ("{} is even".format(num))
else:
print("{} is odd".format(num))
# Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
return not num % 2

- Run your
while
loop aftereven_odd
- Run your prints in the while loop; again after
even_odd
- Decrementing is subtracting one from a value. I.E.
start -= 1
orstart = start - 1
import random
def even_odd(num):
# If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
# Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
return not num % 2
start = 5
while start:
random_number = random.randint(1, 99)
if even_odd(random_number):
print("{} is even".format(random_number))
else:
print("{} is odd".format(random_number))
start -= 1
