15,895 PointsYou still have an if statement below the second comment. The task was to change it.
So you should get rid of it completely.
You can simply check case 'admin' and let the default output be the sentence that was already in the if statement. So if $role
is not 'admin' it will output the same as if($role != 'admin')
. And when $role
is 'admin' it will output the new sentence.
This can be convenient when you have the need to add multiple cases.
<?php
//Available roles: admin, editor, author, subscriber
if (!isset($role)) {
$role = 'subscriber';
}
//change to switch statement
switch($role) {
case 'admin':
echo "As an admin, you can add, edit, or delete any post.";
break;
default:
echo "You do not have access to this page. Please contact your administrator.";
}
