7,030 PointsPHP Arrays and Control Structures Multidimensional Arrays - Challenge
Hello everyone, I am seeking assistance with the challenge. After reviewing everyone else submissions for assistance with this challenge I still cannot figure out why it is not passing. I have reviewed syntax, spelling and all the other things that I could think of to fix the problem but I am missing something. Any help would be appreciated. Please note that I passed all the tasks up to task 3. Task 3 "Replace the hard code..." Basically changing the echo so that it outputs the "Alena Holligan : aleana.holligan@teamtreehouse.com"
BTW - I LOVE HER! She is really great at teaching and I hope she is on more languages.
<?php
//edit this array
$contacts[] = [
'name' => 'Alena Holligan',
'email' => 'alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com',
];
$contacts[] = [

'email' => 'dave.mcfarland@teamtreehouse.com',
];

//$contacts[0] will return 'Alena Holligan' in our simple array of names.

36,427 PointsHi T!
This passes all three:
<?php
//edit this array
$contacts = [
[
'name' => 'Alena Holligan',
'email' => 'alena.holligan@teamtreehouse.com',
],
[
'name' => 'Dave McFarland',
'email' => 'dave.mcfarland@teamtreehouse.com',
],
[
'name' => 'Treasure Porth',
'email' => 'treasure.porth@teamtreehouse.com',
],
[
'name' => 'Andrew Chalkley',
'email' => 'andrew.chalkley@teamtreehouse.com',
]
];
echo "<ul>\n";
//$contacts[0] will return 'Alena Holligan' in our simple array of names.
echo "<li>" . $contacts[0]['name'] . ' : ' . $contacts[0]['email'] . "</li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[1]['name'] . ' : ' . $contacts[1]['email'] . "</li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[2]['name'] . ' : ' . $contacts[2]['email'] . "</li>\n";
echo "<li>" . $contacts[3]['name'] . ' : ' . $contacts[3]['email'] . "</li>\n";
echo "</ul>\n";
I hope that helps.
Stay safe and happy coding!
