password manager with other devices

If you use a password manager to remember and generate passwords, what do you do when you're using another device and you need to access that website, but you don't know your own passwords?

Good question! As others have mentioned, there are often syncing options available. Personally, I use LastPass and have the LastPass app installed on my phone. This means that I have access to my passwords whenever I bring my phone with me.

I think most password managers have some sort of recovery function when it comes to this, since its quite usual that this happens, and if they don't, you might have to contact them and verify yourself somehow. Otherwise you could just log in to the device you have the password remembered and change it that way.

From what i've seen, most password managers have mobile, desktop, and browser versions that can be synced.

For example, 1Password and LastPass, offer various services depending on the plan you choose.
