Is it possible to have post and static data on the same page? I ask because it seems Jekyll treats post and static information independently.
I am looking to create a single page application that includes both.
For example:
Lunch Menu
- Monday - Pizza
- Tuesday - Spaghetti
- Wednesday - Steak & Potatoes
- Thursday - Pumpkin Soup
- Friday - Pork Chops

You should be able to create a static page by adding .html at the end of the file and locating the file at the root directory similar to where index.html is located.
