9,095 PointsOther designers' work
Hello everyone,
I just recently started the Web Design's courses and I'm loving so far what I've seen. I was searching through Google and came across other designers works such as Milton Glaser (I Heart NY) or Massimo Vignelli (NYC subway map). I was wondering if you guys had other suggestions on any other designers that you liked and that have influenced your work?
Thanks

Some others I always go to for inspiration: Michael Bierut (good one to look at for branding), Stefan Sagmeister (interesting concepts from his studio), Aaron Draplin, Jessica Hische (lettering).

8,747 PointsPaul Rand (not to be confused with politician Rand Paul. Ever.), Ellen Lupton, & Chip Kidd. Paul Rand wrote some fantastic books about design, too. The best prof in my graphic design program has all of her students do a project on Paul Rand, laying out various essays of his. Mine was a magnetic Tangram set based on his article on Art & Play.
