Oops! It looks like Task 1 is no longer passing.

Not sure what I am doing wrong here, if it's obvious I'm sorry. Can someone also hint me on how to complete this as there is no hint button. Thanks for the help Treehouse community.

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = 'Our available flavors are: {}.'
display_menu = sundaes.format(','.join(menu))

Hello there Andrew, The code that you assigned to display_menu, sundaes.format(','.join(menu)) is incorrect because menu is not a list and sundaes is not a string. You just need to flip them around so it will be something like this: display_menu = menu.format(','.join(sundaes))

Here is the code that i used to solve this quiz:

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = 'Our available flavors are: {}.'
display_menu = menu.format(','.join(sundaes))

Hope this clears thing out
