Oops! I just decided we're in the wrong folder. Let's remove the git repository we just created.

I tried rm -r.git and rm -r project_folder.git but it does not work

Are you getting a specific error when you try to remove it?

Typically I use rm -rf .git when I've been in this situation.

Great, thanks. It works with rm -rf .gif I did not know that I need a space before .git ( .git)
