Is it worth using an Online Focus group site to review the usability of your current website (B2B & B2C)
Or should you stick to the good old fashioned way, invite people in to watch their reactions?

6,105 PointsI believe it ultimately depends on your network. If I were to choose I would run it through an Online Focus Group first. Update any feedback they may have. Then I would invite others, the good old fashion way. It's always useful to have more than enough feedback.

6,105 PointsYou can also use other resources like Linkedin and Google+. Both have many community pages/focus groups on webdesign and more. I'm sure you can get feed back there too.

Treehouse Guest TeacherHi Lauren Clark - if you're considering online ways to test usability, I'd recommend looking into places like Solidify from Zurb as well as Usability Hub. They might be cheap enough to do what you need if it's for a small project.

33,155 PointsI was thinking of either running one using blog subscribers who may or may not have actually used the e-commerce site, and then looking at a proper focus group. I always worry the online focus groups could be false, just doing it for the sake of it! Thanks for your comments.
