Python Web Development Techdegree Student 1,971 PointsOkay great, now can you fix the hasTile method for me, right now it always returns false. Correct the existing hasTile
there is something missing in my code i can't figure out.
public class ScrabblePlayer {
// A String representing all of the tiles that this player has
private String tiles;
public ScrabblePlayer() {
tiles = "";
}
public String getTiles() {
return tiles;
}
public void addTile(char tile) {
tiles+=tile;
// TODO: Add the tile to tiles
}
public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
boolean tile = tiles.indexOf(tile) !=-1;
if(tile){tiles+=tile} else{tile=-1;}
return tile;
// TODO: Determine if user has the tile passed in
}
}

return tiles.indexOf(tile) >= 0;
if the index of tile is less than 0 it is not in the string. When you use the >, <, etc. signs it will return a boolean;
