16,266 PointsThe addTile()
method originally was public void addTile(char tile)
. You're just meant to add the char tile
to the string
tiles
. It's a void
so it shouldn't return
anything.
Looks like you've changed the method to return a boolean instead.
Here's my addTile()
-
public class ScrabblePlayer {
// A String representing all of the tiles that this player has
private String tiles;
public ScrabblePlayer() {
tiles = "";
}
public String getTiles() {
return tiles;
}
public void addTile(char tile) {
// TODO: Add the tile to tiles
tiles += tile;
}
public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
// TODO: Determine if user has the tile passed in
}
}
