You're very close with that! Just a couple of things; setText
is a method that works on the TextView
so you use dot notation for that. Also, the getType
method should be called on the instance of Spaceship
not the class directly, so use mSpaceship
not Spaceship
.
mSpaceship = new Spaceship("FIREFLY");
mTypeLabel.setText(mSpaceship.getType());
You could equally do this on more than one line, as you have done:
String type = mSpaceship.getType();
mTypeLabel.setText(type);
