Java Java Objects (Retired) Harnessing the Power of Objects Helper Methods

Now create a helper method named isFullyCharged. It should return true if the GoKart is at max capacity.

Could someone help me with this i don't understand why the compiler wont work

GoKart.java
public class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String mColor;
  private int mBarsCount;
  public boolean isBatteryEmpty () {
  return mBarsCount == 0;
  }
   public GoKart(String color) {
    mColor = color;
    mBarsCount = 0;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return mColor;
  }

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    return mBarsCount == MAX_BARS;
  }
  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    (mBarsCount == 8);
  }
  public void charge() {
    mBarsCount = MAX_BARS;
  }
}

You're missing your return statement for isFullyCharged. Also, you shouldn't check if the bar count is 8, you should check if it's MAX_BARS.

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    // You have '(mBarsCount == 8);'
    return (mBarsCount == MAX_BARS);
  }

Also, your isEmpty function seems to be wrong as well. It should be checking if it's empty, not full.

public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    // You have 'return mBarsCount == MAX_BARS;'
    return mBarsCount == 0;
}
