I am understanding how to split at the semi colin but it is asking to assign to the sundaes variable. Do I need to do this prior to splitting at the semi colin or after. It keeps telling me to make it a list so I am maybe a bit confused by how to assign it to sundaes. Thanks
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
"banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white".split(';')

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')

sundaes
should be assigned, as Sam shows below, the results of the.split()
method.
