Python Python Basics (2015) Shopping List App Break

Not sure what I'm doing wrong in second task of Python breaks code challenge.

I was able to figure out the first task but I'm not sure what I am doing wrong in the second half. It states: Oops, I forgot that I need to break out of the loop when the current item is the string "STOP". Help me add that code!

breaks.py
def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
        if item== "STOP":
            break
        else:
            print(items)

The issue is the print statement:

print(items)

items is the list of items, item is the singular item that the loop has pulled out, so that's what you should be printing.

The challenge should actually not have accepted that print statement for the first task either, but the code verification can at times be a bit buggy and allow incorrect code through.

If you fix it by printing out the item variable instead of items then your code should work.

Thank you for your help on this. That solved the problem!
