Ok some I'm sort of confused on the question, and the list that I am editing? Can someone help? Am I adding code or just changing?

Thanks Blessings!

hey Kody Dibble , in general both ways would work, so when there's already an element in the css you can add to that or you can also feel free to add a completely new rule.

as you haven't added a specific question from the code challenge I assume you're starting at task1 that would be: Select the unordered list nested inside the nav element. Remove the margins on the top and bottom. Set the margins on the left and right to 10px.

in this case the element you want to style doesn't exist in the css yet so we definitely have to create a new rule, like this:

nav ul {
  margin: 0 10px;
}

hope that helps and have a nice day ;)
