Are you by chance using Firefox? My firefox won't show the preview of the color, but Chrome will!

I love Firefox! It's my standard browser. However, when on Treehouse I've learned to use Chrome. Some of the courses even go through the Chrome Developer tools, so I'd suggest using it at least while working on Treehouse.

No, I don't think it's possible to reach me directly, but you can post a question and hope I have an answer! :)

Yes, and no. I have a formal education in programming (or did), but that was over 20 years ago. And I've been out of it for a very long time (due to health issues). But since that time new HTML and CSS standards have emerged. Mobile devices are now a thing. So where I may have innately understood the basics of HTML and CSS, I had no clue how they were used in today's environment. When I studied at the university a cell phone came in a bag about 8 inches across. It certainly wasn't anything close to what we use today. These courses have taken that old knowledge I had and more or less turned it upside down and retaught me how we use these things NOW... TODAY. And that is just... priceless.
