subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)

Name is a variable that holds 'Bob'.

Subject is a variable that contains the sentence "Treehouse loves {}"

We then use .format() to change the {} to the variable name. Let me know if you have more questions.

Hey Mauricio,

They want subject to read Treehouse loves Mauricio, so you need .format(name) at the end of Treehouse loves Mauricio. You don't need the print statement, but for future reference, you will get a syntax error with your spaces between print and (), and format and ().
