Normalize css removes bullets from portfolio, about, contact but, not from rest of page

I can't figure it out. I believe I did the code correctly....Normalize.css will remove the bullets from Portfolio, About, and Contact but, doesn't remove the bullets from the rest of the page. Below is my code....

<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css">

</head> <body> <header> <a href="index.html"> <h1>Frank Hammen</h1> <h2>Teacher</h2> </a> <nav> <ul> <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li> <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li> <li><a href="Contact">Contact</a></li> </ul> </nav> </header> <section> <ul> <li> <a href="img/numbers-01.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""> <p>Experimentation with color and texture.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-02.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""> <p>Playing with blending modes in Photoshop.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-06.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt=""> <p>Trying to create an 80's style of glows.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-09.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-09.jpg" alt=""> <p>Drips created using Photoshop brushes.</p> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-12.jpg"> <img src="img/numbers-12.jpg" alt=""> <p>Creating shapes using repetition.</p> </a> </li> </ul>

As far as I know, this video uses an older version of normalize.css which removed all the bullet points by default. Since the video released, normalize has updated and no longer removes all bullet points. You'll need to add your own css to fix that:

/*****
- to remove bullet points from all lists, both unordered and ordered lists
- we can also add padding-left:0; to make the list appear on the left edge
*****/
ul, ol {
    list-style:none;
}

That worked....thank you.....I looked at the normalize.css before and saw code similar but, after your reply I looked back at it and noticed that the code was just for the nav area.....thank you again.

You'll end up removing the bullets in the gallery later on with

#gallery {
  list-style: none;
}
