I am currently running the newest version of Intellij IDEA and I don't seem to have the sidebar indicating the Gradle tab. So instead I tried making the project by clicking the icon but that didn't seem to do much. What should i do to synchronize all my Gradle files

56,413 PointsThere should be a square icon in the bottom left corner. Clicking on that will turn the side rails on and off.

I think I might know what you are saying. Can you try something for me. When you're in intellij click View at the top (it's between Edit and Navigate)
The first option will be Tool Windows, hover over that and it will pop up another window, if you click of project does it bring up the scroll menu you are looking for?
Also if you are running a windows system you can old hold down alt and press 1 in intellij for the shortcut for this. Let me know if this helps.
