No PropType?

How come we don't use PropType to declare what type of data is coming in to GifList or to Gif. In other courses, we would do:

GifList.proptype = { data: PropType.array.isRequired }

How come we dont include that here? Thanks in advance!

you can if you want. proptypes can be helpful but aren't required. this set of videos is more about teaching a single page react app with internet provided data (the gifs).
