When I edit pages I get a page attributes box with a dropdown to let me choose the template I want to use. Within my custom portfolio post type though, this page attributes box is nowhere to be seen. It is not that a particular template is missing but that the whole Page Attributes section is not there. I have included this in my page-portfolio.php file between php tags. /* Template Name: Portfolio Page */
