Followed this step by step and no menu is added under settings. Also used code provided in downloads and it doesnt work.

26,102 PointsI know you posted this almost 2 years ago, but for someone else looking for the possible answer. Be sure to check your spelling and syntax. If all else fails go back and read the different default parameters from the WordPress codex. I was trying to give capabilities to 'mangage_options' instead of 'manage_options'. It's always the little details that get you. Hope this helps!
