962 PointsNew to it all. A bit of advice would be really awesome
So I just got into computers this year and after a lot of contemplation I switched my major and joined the IT life. I just finished my first year as a Computer Science major and though I really love it, I can't really say I learned as efficiently as I would have liked to. A friend told me about Treehouse and long story short I found out about the Tech Degree tracks and thought it'd be amazing to get hands on certified experience while going to school.
My questions are; i) Is the Tech Degree Program really worth it? ii) Which would be best if I would like to find a job after completing the program, while still going to school? ( I was thinking either Front End, Full Stack, or Java) iii) What does a great portfolio for a developer looking for a job consist of?
Thank you ahead of time for any help and replies :)

Courses Plus Student 17,625 PointsI found a video earlier today that does a great job breaking it all down for you and really explains the tech you would need to know as a Web Developer in 2017. Hope this helps - https://youtu.be/sBzRwzY7G-k
