New Course: Introduction to Big Data

Howdy everybody!

I wanted to let you know that Jared Smith and I have released a new course that will give you a nice overview of the world of Big Data. It's called Introduction to Big Data and we think you are going to love it.

As application consumers, we have become very accustomed to our mobile apps and websites responding almost immediately. We need them to provide the most up to date information and it needs to be easily searchable. We expect our videos to stream and our notifications to be immediate. We demand accurate recommendations and want our exercise tracked and maintained.

As application developers, we better learn how these apps are doing that with all this data....amirite?!! The good news is that there are a lot of tools at your disposal, you just need to know about them.
