Hello everybody! My name is Bo, and I'm the Director of Marketing and Production here at Treehouse. Here are my LinkedIn and Twitter links. I'd love to connect with you.
My favorite non-programming hobby is playing guitar. I have a loop pedal, and love to lay down a simple melody and build on top of it. It's my favorite way to relax and be creative.
Other than that, we have some exciting things planned at Treehouse that I'm working on. We have our upcoming live event on How to Prepare for the Technical Interview that I'm looking forward to, plus many more exciting projects in the coming months. Stay tuned!
Looking forward to connecting with y'all and hope you have a great Thursday ahead āØ

7,245 PointsHey everyone, my name is Ian and my favorite non-programming hobby is gaming.
I am currently a digital marketer helping various medium sized companies in South Africa with optimized websites, Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
My linkedin profile( although I'm not very active on it ) https://www.linkedin.com/in/ian-cahn-801328184
Currently I am upskilling with JS and React, as I love improving my skill stack and is secretly thinking about moving to another country.
My hobbies at this stage is : grinding Apex Legends Ranked, playing some guitar and watching Youtube videos while I should be studying... Also posting low level JavaScript to my friends to show how smart I am...
On a real note, I am excited about TeamTreeHouse, and having been through a couple of alternatives, my only regret with Treehouse is not finding this platform and its community sooner.

CJ Williams
34,372 PointsHey all,
My name is CJ, and I recently relocated from Bozeman, Montana to Chicago, Illinois. I am the Manager of Marketing and E-Commerce at Sievert Electric.
I am looking to make some connections in the area. I love to play softball, host pub trivia and perform stand-up. I also love to make music, cook, play darts, retro gaming, and pretty much every board game.
Here are my LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and SoundCloud.
I am currently building the Marketing department here at Sievert and may be looking for professional connections depending on how we grow. I am currently leading web dev, e-commerce, social, email, SEO, and art direction. I'm busy as hell and I love it, but might need help at a certain point.
My current learning trajectory is focused on JAMstack dev, particularly with Vue.JS. I am brushing up on my JS skills again on Treehouse after a hiatus.
Hit me up if you are in the Chicago area or have similar skills that you are looking to develop.
Cheers!

Courses Plus Student 12,745 PointsHey CJ,
I actually live in Crete, IL which is a suburb just south of Chicago. It looks like we also have some similar interests, although my web dev skills are probably still not industry-ready. But I'm into SEO and want to learn how to develop eCommerce and business-optimized websites. I'll connect with you on LinkedIn and maybe I could be a good fit for any roles you have in the future.

My name is Andrew from Spain, and I am enrolled in the Front End Web TechDegree.
I like to do mountain biking in my spare time and binge-watch on Netflix or catch a football game.
I would love to connect on LinkedIn if anybody wants to. Sorry if my profile seems a little blank though - I'm a total newbie I'm afraid... š Just created it today after seeing a video on Treehouse actually!
I'm currently doing content editing and writing as a day job, but I hope to move to web development one day in some capacity at least.
Anyway, I hope you have a good day and wish you all a nice Easter. Thanks!

Lemuel Mason
1,589 PointsHello everyone,
My name is Lemuel Mason and I live in Louisville, KY. I am a non-traditional student who is between jobs and pondering retirement to devote full time to my Full Stack courses. I am an artist, cat collector, avid motorcyclist, and love to travel. It is my desire to one day use my web building skills to help animal organizations and artists create outlets for their work.
This bio/resume is my first project, created after 3 months of only Goggle and coffee, and before I joined Treehouse. I also have a braille study app I am working on that will be on my LinkedIn page shortly. I came upon Treehouse serendipitously while looking for resources related to Code Louisville project and really enjoy and appreciate it. I have developed a vociferous appetite for all things CSS!
In closing, I wish to offer a sincere "Thank you" to Treehouse staff for sharing their knowledge and making these classes so accessible and easy to use.
Have a great day, everybody!

Introduce yourself Hi, my name is Sarah. I was born in Seoul Korea and adopted at 6 months of age. Most of my life i've lived in Buffalo, NY and the past 10 years have lived in Orlando, FL. I'm new to programming and learning a lot from the front end web development courses on treehouse so far.

If anyone in the Orlando area would like to connect, please reach out.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 2,240 PointsGreetings Sarah, I'm a Florida Treehouse student as well but I'm over in the Tampa Bay Area. Korean dramas are the best! I cannot wait for season two of Hospital Playlist to come out on Netflix this year! Best of luck on all of your coding projects!
Qui Le
10,998 PointsHi Sarah! I treat myself to some Kdramas too. The last time I watched a Kdrama, I was watching everything from Park Bo-young like Strong Girl Bong-soon. She is a great actress!
Sarah Amechazurra
853 PointsMy favorite non-programming hobby is brushing up on my math skills on Khan academy.
I'm Sarah. I'm an academic at heart. A habitual student learning and improving my metacognition. Also, I am interested in improving my understanding of computer science. Data structures and algorithms across multiple programming languages enthralls me.
https://www.linkedin.com/in/sametxa/
I am currently working on my first project which is building a portfolio website of all current and future projects. See my linkedin profile for more information.Ā I'm so thrilled to start sharing more of myself and documenting my journey with all of you.
For the longest time I've had the wrong perceptions on math. I had a math phobia. In the past I dislike math only because I had poor self image in my own abilities to master mathematics and I didn't have the motivation or support from my peers to enable me to be confident in mastering it.
Now my perception has changed. I like that doing math problems creates new neural pathways and expands cognitive capabilities in the brain.
I love the learning process and find joy in the challenge of it.

10,998 PointsWhat's my favorite non-programming hobby? I like to express myself by writing because it forces me to remember things & repeat what I read/hear. So I just keep my thoughts here.
Introduce myself My name is Qui. I started learning Computer Science when I was in college, and I am continuing to find new things to learn even now. I am currently reinforcing my fundamental knowledge in CS as well as learning new things in Data Science field.
Share LinkedIn profile URL I am happy to become part of your network. It is always more exciting to get to know someone and to be able to learn/work together on all things. Thank you for connecting! Here is my profile.
Share links and/or screenshots of the projects I am not doing a big project as of now because I am focused to understand CS concepts better.
Share my interests, hobbies, etc I am tuning in the news more than I would want to, but I just love reading about social/political/economic/etc issues. If there is a credible site (non-profit or edu) that fairly discusses & analyzes topics in our society, please direct me to it. Also, I find time to work on my musical skills from time to time because I like to play my piano.

2,709 PointsHello everyone, my name is Vincent, I am very new to front-end web development. My favorite non-programming hobby is music. What got me into web development was making mixtapes in my bedroom using a DJ software and mixers. I love how I am able to stimulate my creative and technical side much like web development.
One project I find myself working on a bit is my portfolio (https://vcasilla.com/). I think I have a solid design but I am always picking at something new each day.
I'd love to get to know more about other developers in this community and hope to get some good feedback and/or conversation with anything web development-related.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 2,240 PointsGreetings from sunny Florida! I'm Erika and I am on the FEWD journey. I started a little over a month ago. I am working towards changing my career from librarian to FEWD. I am pressing my way through Unit 2 of the program and currently learning CSS, and doing the 100 Days of Code challenge. I have a variety of hobbies that I enjoy besides learning new things. I enjoy running, yoga, spending time with my dog Jubilee (you can see her pretty face in my profile picture), reading (my favorite genres are Sci-Fi, Fantasy and manga), helping out at my church, playing Animal Crossing New Horizons, watching Disney movies, coloring, and building LEGO sets. This is my LinkedIn and Twitter. Nice to meet you all and thank you for sharing your stories!

22,414 PointsHi Erika! It's nice to meet you. That's awesome your going through the Front End Web Dev journey. I've started the same course around the same time too. I'm also trying to change careers from pharmacy tech to technology field (web developer). I've just started the JavaScript section and this will be my first programming language. Keep me posted how your experience with JavaScript is going. Take Care! Happy coding!
Qui Le
10,998 PointsHello Erika! I also love running, but I think what I enjoy is a mixed sequence of jogging and sprinting :)) Is there a sci-fi book you like to recommend to us here? A few books I enjoyed last were Brave New World, The Giver, & Ender's Game.
Unsubscribed User
Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 2,240 PointsGreetings Qui! I like to jog too but no sprinting for me. The Giver is a great book! I was never a fan of Ender's Game, not the book or the movie. Have you read Ready Player One? That is a good read and good movie. My favorite type of sci-fi is usually about robots. I love robots and Godzilla. I would recommend anything by Daniel H. Wilson if you like robots. If robots aren't your thing, I also recommend Supernova Era by Cixin Liu, Vessel by Lisa Nichols, Binti by Nnedi Okorafor, Welcome to Night Vale by Joseph Fink, or Illuminae by Amie Kaufman. If you give any a try, let me know what you think. :)

What's my favorite non-programming hobby? I like to learn about personal/spiritual growth, read and cook.
I am currently learning how to do a proper LinkedIn profile bc mine is solely geared towards my Navy experience and my podcast. If anyone has any tips or helpful articles/Youtube links, I'd greatly appreciate it.

My main hobbies are cooking, traveling, building websites, reading, and going down the Youtube rabbit hole of coding and developer vids.
